And I remember thinking how did he know to put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue and maybe we can actually never have it. No matter what. He probably realized that no Constitution will guarantee a healthy, safe, prosperous life. The best we can do is not stand in people's way as they figure out what they want and how to get it.
