I do not think 2600 is too much if it will be your main computer, I paid that (or more) for my desktop computer, and on top of that I do updates... and for that last item is that I would never have my main computer a Laptop, notebook, ultrabook or whatever is called, but more importantly, Michel never said that money was a problem! :)
