Excluding the ADO part of your reply, it was precisely this type of thing (let me call it 'passing SQL record sets BETWEEN VFPs in same or different machines' which was the only WishList item to ever illicit a response from MS and that response was to say that they definitely were working on it.
That was just before VFP 5 hit the streets!
See what we got so far? - ZILCH.
