The other 2 members the show are far-right and far-left. The far-right falls into the "it's none of my business" camp and the far-left falls in the "always get involved" camp. With rare exception do they deviate.

There was a discussion some time ago about a very similar situation (minus the pregnancy) where a listener wrote in and described hearing shouting and possible physical violence coming from the next door apartment on a nightly basis. The police had visited the residence a number of times and was looking for advice on what to do. The far-right and far-left answers were obvious but the author broke down a number of possibilities and possible outcomes. He then told the listener that ultimately the decision is his alone because only he knows what he can live with.

When pressed he said when he heard the shouting start he would call the cops, at a minimum he could provide the woman some temporary "relief". Ultimately, given the circumstance he'd do everything he could to move out of that apartment. Work an extra job, save and move as soon as possible.
