Look at the sample code that comes with VFP. There are links to other sites from here that do have shareware & freeware. There is also some good utils here in the download section.

Bottom line is if you look at what comes with VFP & bounce off of this site to other web sites you should find enough to get you started.

The there is always right here -- ask questions.
