The absolute approach worked ok if I wouldn't have had those scrollbars. The problem is if you stuck something with absolute, as soon as you move the scrollbar, you see the content of the page reacting accordingly but all those added DIV remain as is thus become more offset as we scroll. But, I will take a look at that link to see if there is something cleaner. In my case, it is just two lines which have been affected and resolved the issue. I tested in IE, Firefox and Google Chrome.
