Occasionally, users of my Foxpro app will get the message "Too Many Windows Open", when they have been running the app for several hours. This was developed with VFP 5.0. In the database for the app i have a linking table where the user can link an item_id from the database to an external file; such as a word doc. In a listbox i display the item and its attached files. When they double click the file it opens the intended application+file. This is the area where users have seen this 'Too Many Windows Open' problem the most. The help file on error messages is pretty vague. Has anyone else seen this error message and know of a solution.
