You will also need the foxhelp.chi files, or you will not receive the index of topics, I copied the foxhelp.chm;chi files to \windows\help and set VFP6 to use them from there.

I agree that the help system is needlessly complicated. Since most developers use a single language 90% of the time, bringing up the extra 4 billion help/kb/etc topics was like placing a landmine under the F1 key! (IMHO)

{dismounting soapbox} - Using this tip saves time if you use help frequently. At least until MS puts Intellisense into VFP, maybe for VFP 2000?!
