Should read: "Any other version is Windows7 in basic mode, stripped of normal Desktop functionality, with a new, foreign user interface which is confusing and non-intuitive, one which presents itself as the only component of Win8 with decent graphics so as to herd us into line for the future app market Microsoft is creating to control all software making it onto Windows-based machines (because you cannot install metro apps without going through Microsoft, only desktop apps)."
It's quite horrible what Microsoft is doing to consumers ... and all under the name of progress.
