I knew Tom and he did take LSD in the 1960’s, but my understanding is that by 1976 he was through with drugs. His programming days did not really begin until the early 1980’s, when I first met him at Ashton Tate. His TRO business went well and I really do not thing that drugs and alcohol inspired him at this stage of his life. He was really into diet and exercise as I recall. There are other ways to be high and do not require ingesting anything, just by allowing good feelings to inspire you.
