Jesus came to the Earth as a man, living as one of us, to show people the ways of truth. Even though He knew the end of this Earth, He came here to do good, and only good, despite all the efforts of the enemy to do evil and to harm men. Jesus came to save men, and to show them the right way to be.

While I am here on this Earth I am to continue the work in the way He has shown me. I do my best. As you point out, I am still a man, and I am in this body, and this body is fallen with the original sin of Adam and it is constantly fighting against me. But there is something a believer has that non-believers don't. They are "born again" (if indeed they are) and that allows them to understand the spiritual things of God, and to no longer have only as their source of guidance their rational (flesh and blood) mind. They have been changed, reborn, altered forever. As a result, the believer is no longer tied only to the things of the reasoning mind, but is now able to hear the voice of God, and to know things which cannot be known unless they come from a spiritual discernment and awareness.

It's one of those things that until a person experiences it, they would never have believed it or been able to understand it. And once they do experience it, it's like "Oh wow, no explanation is necessary any longer."

It is faith, Victor. For those who have no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, no explanation is sufficient.

Jesus came to lead men Home. That is what all Christians will do as well when they are translated from the old to the new, reborn again of the Spirit. They will do this to the best of their ability and no matter what comes.
