Yes well Jesus was a tax evader who practically incited riots so don't be so sure. And who is it that carries the meter on if someone is living to the best of their abilities anyway? I'm sure that Jim Jones lived to the best of his abilities - and despite the tragic ending you have to admit that at least at the onset he did many great things for society, people in need, people looking for direction, etc. Perhaps if the senator that his disciples wacked would of shot/crucified Jim Jones first there would still be a few zillion people behind him too. One thing about all these religious leaders is that if they don't end up dead soon enough, eventually the whole thing implodes.

But he was still just a man...and not unlike ALL men either. Yes a gifted speaker that could express his philosophy well and con suckers into believing whatever he said - but while that is an uncommon trait it is far from unique.

At the end of the day it's obvious that we both want the same thing - the world to be a better place and people to be happy. Needless to say we disagree on the way to do that - but hey at least we're not pickin up guns shootin each other to prove it...hahaha
