Yes, the direction from Report Designer into an form or class open in Form Designer or Class designer would be much less complicated.

Once you learn how to extract the information from the clipboard (or from the Temp file), FoxPro provides all the tools you need to create objects and their properties in the Form/Class Designer.

Let us know how it goes.

>>
>>BTW -- reverting to the original topic -- I am not so sure about your suggestion, at least going from Form/Class Designer to FRX. My guess is that what is placed in the clipboard is the minimum information about each copied object. Certainly its name, class, class library, and any non-default values/methods -- but not necessarily the default information, some of which may be exactly what is of interest when trying to paste into the FRX.
>>
>>Furthermore, the request is not to paste into the FRX (updating the file), but rather pasting into the Report Designer. Again, my guess is that posting into the FRX when the report is open in the designer is worthless, since the FRX is re-written when you save it.

>form report. Once I have this, those conversions will be more or less snap.
