The last sentence of the article says this.... "...That future version will probably add back the Start button and give users a few more status bars and menus. Perhaps Microsoft will even allow applications to run in overlapping windows....."

I haven't had time to mess with windows 8 for a few months so I've kinda forgot a few things...So about this overlapping windows - I take it that unless you're in desktop mode no overlapping windows?
