Of course.

My reply was more to teach that it's sometimes very easy for a person to test any possible performance issues, rather than sticking to a hard-and-fast rule. In this case Mk Sharma would find there is no measurable difference, even on hundreds of thousands of iterations. And, in general, the code design is very clean with the simple DO CASE above and SQL expression visible on the same page below.
