I may have definite proof that daylight savings is fraud. But then someone somewhere just may come up with some paperwork showing the interest he accrued, and I wouldn't be able to see his extra daylight - and yet his evidence may be vetted by some court somewhere. Since I don't want to waste lifetime's savings on a kangaroo court, let's settle for "I have some serious belief that daylight savings is a scam, and that nobody ever saved a minute of daytime - nor got any extra daytime as interest on this savings" (note that I took care to write "savings" as if it was singular, because that's the politically rectified form of it).
