>>If you can handle plowing through a legal dissertation with lots of legal citing (which you can read around), this write-up by a judge in Alberta is a howl. OPCA is an acronym he coined that stands for "Organized Pseudolegal Commercial Argument", and while his writing is mostly Canadian in content, a lot of this stuff actually sources from the U.S.

>Wow, I thought that class of whackos was a product of, and confined to the USA. Some of them must have moved north.

Oh, we have lots of them up here. A friend of mine is a tax investigator, and she's actually had to face these morons in court. I showed this to her and she actually recognized a number of the "gurus".

To my knowledge though, this is the first dissertation that really nailed and catalogued them for posterity. I mean seriously, "UCC applies to governments, .... whether interstellar, intergalactic, international, national, state, provincial, or local"? Seriously? Some guy thought he could get away with that in a court of law?? Hilarious!
