>Mere Mortals support is handled through this site/ thread. It was one of the red flags that management raised when I suggested that we adopted MM back in 2005. Mere Mortals was one of three frameworks that I was asked to evaluate. The decision came down to Mere Mortals or Strataframe. At the time Mere Mortals seemed the better choice despite the fact that they didn’t maintain their own support forum and would require a subscription to this site if we wanted to be able to search past help threads.
>Strataframe had a great support site and more example code and apps but relied on being connected to SQL Server for meta data and had some bizarre license verification setup that made moving from our desktops to laptops difficult.
>My point of view won out and we started using Mere Mortals. Over the eight years Ive come to have my doubts about my position. While most of the pitfalls of Strataframe are now non issues the support level provided for the mere mortals framework has not changed for the better.

I am not a Mere Mortals customer so don't have a dog in this game. Even as a non-customer the support has seemed catch as catch can. Kevin does pop in here every now and again but that is the only visible means of support. Companies like that deserve to lose their customers. I also don't like it that he only shows up here to answer MM questions, never to give general tech answers as so many other vendors do.
