Who says they don't make movies the way they used to?
"Body Heat" is set in a heat wave in south Florida. One of the characters, a cop, says when it gets hot like this people wake up cranky and never recover. William Hurt stars as a semi-competent lawyer. Kathleen Turner, then unknown and looking red hot, brazened her way into a role she was not even being considered for. They are electric together.
A young Mickey Rourke is in one scene and steals it completely.
The music is a key part. You feel like you are in that heat wave in south Florida. It's pretty close to my favorite movie.
