In fairness, you and a few others do have a bee in your bonnet about religion. ;-) So what if Rick has firm beliefs and wants to talk about them? We've had evangelistic fervor around here for years about various technical issues or politicians or wars etc etc. Sometimes the most fervent types are right, and sometimes they turn out to be wrong (though IME the sarcastic ad hominem types are more likely to be wrong). But surely in the end we're looking at pixels on a monitor that only can exert any effects at all if we allow it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
