But only if they get an answer :-)
Seriously, having been involved in the Framework business on both side I just make the observation that however well-intentioned the framework author, frameworks generate virtually no money compared to client work and even successful, well-known framework products like MM or VFE only represent one or two people as authors and support staff. Sometimes client work, real life and a number of factors can intervene and the ball gets dropped on monitoring support requests. Oakleaf isn't a big company . It is basically Kevin.
But I do know Kevin and knows both his reputation and the reputation of his product are very important to him so I think a friendly email will get you a quick and helpful response.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
