It isn't that easy. You have to setup the public/private key, run Putty, etc. And integration into VS is additional. Almost all examples you look at on the web show command line interface with typical Linux-like switches that is some weird abbreviation that doesn't make sense. At least, that's my experience trying to use GitHub.
