Inexpensive, largish, RWD, powerful motor - there are obvious American competitors - Mustang, Challenger.
Dunno what foreign models would compare. Is a Camaro a true 4-seater or realistically a 2+2?
Germans too expensive/finicky.
Japanese - Infiniti G37, Nissan 350Z (?), Subaru WRX/STI, Mitsubishi Lancer variants. I don't think Honda, Mazda or Toyota play in that space at this time. All probably more expensive than a Camaro.
Korean - Hyundai Genesis V6
