>>>Oh, wait, that was the microwave. Never mind.

>LOL. BTW, if haven't replaced your microwave in a couple of years, do it- that thing is leaking nasty EMF all over the kitchen.

>Also, if you have a wireless router at home, consider getting rid if it. Latest unpublished research is strongly suggesting a link between wireless and childhood lymphoma. I know several pediatricians who are not willing to wait for peer review: they've eliminated wireless from their homes. Something to consider even for those who don't have kids. FWIW, I hadn't realized how prevalent wireless has become until my daughter's new Macbook Air arrived and I tried to plug in the ethernet cable- to discover there's no ethernet port. Yep, new Mac models don't have an RJ45 port because everybody has wireless. Freaky.
What re you using at home for networking John and what do you think of these warnings?
My wife feels that they are harmful so we have devolo powerline adapters. I'm a don't know and I'd have to say the lack of wireless is often inconvenient and we end up with a lot of trailing cables, also as Thomas mentions I can see about 10 other wireless connections as I sit here. For the same reason we have a wired phone (getting quite hard to find now).
