I wouldn't use a timer. There are other methods:
- Windows Service.
- Scheduled Task that runs an app
- Schedule the SSRS report to run
>You are probably right that I need to rethink how it will print. In VFP I have a small app running 24/7 and when it "sees" a new record it prints the order. The VFP app has a timer that check every so-many minutes for new order. I want to replace the VFP app with something more stable.
