I have just reached the 2 gig limit for a table in Foxpro 2.6

I was surprised that the table destroyed itself, and is no longer fixable or readable (not a database anymore)

I am equally surprised that VFP5 also has a 2 gig limit, why is this for a FAT32 program?

Any comments, does VFP6 also have this limit?
