Sadly, yes.
I did put Windows 8 on it to try it out - it works but there are two problems:
1. The native screen resolution. Its 1024 X 600 - and Windows Metro wants 1024x768. Now I can make the screen go 1024x768 - and I can see the whole thing no problem (don't have to scroll around to see it all) - but it leaves some blank spots on the sides when I do that.
2. The screen isn't multi-touch - so navigating around in windows 8 is kinda a pain .
To me those two things are a blunder. The screen should be 1024x768 full screen and should be multi touch. The other missing thing that would make it better is if it had a second camera on the back - like a 8mp or 13mp camera with a flash. I mean heck I still have to use something else to take pics of all the pretty girls at the beach! hahaha
