One vote for the HP Elitebook 8560w (there may be a newer version now) if you are looking for a laptop that can also be a desktop and used for development etc.

A bit pricey, but watch ebay. After a trade show, HP often sells off all the laptops used at the show. I got a week old unit for about 30 cents on the dollar. They wipe the drive so you have to install Windows and drivers yourself, but the vendor is helpful and it was breeze.
