I get where you're coming from Rick, at least I think so :) I appreciate you have had a life changing experience but I think that this experience, itself probably genuine and real, is being interpreted according to a certain background and therein lies a certain problem. I don't mind you posting whatever you like, I can choose to read it or not, but if I were you I would ask myself what I am trying to achieve and what would perhaps be a more effective approach to achieving that goal.

If the only option open to you is to talk from the position of a certain religion then in that very approach a certain failure percentage is assured and a certain range of reactions is to be expected. Main stream religions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam) are divisive and separate one man from another. In the very nature of their beliefs, their dogmas, they create violence between men; me and you, us and them, my belief and yours, my holy book and your holy book, my God and your (false) God. Ideas of tolerance between these religions is actually no-tolerance at all because we simply think the other is deluded or blind and secretly we know we are right but you can carry on doing whatever it is you like. This type of tolerance is simply an agreement that we wont kill each other now (because we know our God will take care of you later).

There is perhaps another way of talking to people and sharing your thoughts that doesn't require the framing via your religion but I don't know if you are allowed or able to do that. I wish you well Rick, you are committed to principle which is more than many. I can appreciate a person's sincerity although it might be useful to tone down the enthusiasm a few notches :)
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends - Martin Luther King, Jr.
