Art is also a matter of POV. I don't think left leaning politics have any monopoly there. "24" was a huge hit (which I enjoyed) whose basic theme was right wing in the extreme. In the present day "Zero Dark Thirty" certainly does not advocate coddling our enemies. We are going through a reprise of the Sylvester Stallone and Chuck Norris militaristic movies of the Reagan era. That's not picking a fight, just an observation of things as I see them.
