Enslavement?!
Not sure whether everybody realizes that Windows 8 wants you to load all apps via App Store or by sideloading if the OS is eligible. This will be Jailbroken, but I don't agree about enslavement because there's no compulsion to participate. I haven't updated to Windows 8 and have no plans to do so. IMHO my latest Windows 7 notebook probably is the last I will need until the PC slips into irrelevance.
