We have this wireless LAN setup installed in about 60 sites.

>Before I was asking on improving the speed but now I've noticed that one particular installation is getting a lot of index corruption problems, this corruption problem has been sporadic among all other installations (about 60) and I know that we've been changing a lot of the xp laptops for windows 7 laptops so I'm guessing it's 70% windows 7, 30% xp and this particular installation does have all windows 7 laptops. So my first thought was that the wireless connection might be dropping so much that eventually it's causing corruption but then a co-worker thought of this as well. I'm not to much of a network guy so my question would be if you think this SMB2 could be a cause of the corruption under this scenario?

Yes, it is likely SMB2 causing the corruption.

XP talking to Windows 7 will negotiate down to SMB1. Two Windows 7 computers will use SMB2.
