If you are using tableupdate to update the database, you are probably using a remote view or cursor adapter. Either way, make sure you have your KeyFieldList set properly to the PK of your table. The fields in your KeyFieldList are used to generate the update statement, and if it is set to a different field that all of the records share in common, such as your RecordLive field, then all of the records will be updated to the same value.
