nice and easy presentation. I would be more careful with the opinion on confiscation.
Inflation/deflation might occur as well even if no advances in mining tehcnology are made: indirectly by gov suppression of the currency.
Just imagine a bitcoin tax/due forced upon such transactions and willingness (to skip "interest") might take a nose dive.
Also a few stashes were stolen - which caused AFAIR at least one heavy value drop few years back.
