I've expressed that to Michel who said something about needing all this information. Well, I'm coming back to how poor the design is, especially the home page. If I was looking for a new support forum today and hit the UT home page, I'd move along to somewhere else. Whitespace is important. Think like a designer. If you can't do that, find one.

The Homepage seems full of distractions and you have to know what to focus on to allow it to make sense. I look for the Login button, and the rest is clutter. It is not inviting nor does it tell a user the purpose of the site.

I learned from college that the upper left hand corner is the most valuable real estate space on a page! That has to do with the fact that those of us in the Western World read from left to right, top to bottom. The page as it exists now seems like the remains of what a paper shredder leaves in a waste paper basket!

White space would help tremendously and a complete redesign of the Homepage would make it more attractive and could well increase the membership. If you should just happen upon the Homepage as it exists today, you may not appreciate or understand what the site is for.
