Well that was easy. The hardest part was remembering I had a really nice StarTech eSata SATA Docking Station.
The clone of the 120gb I had reduced my C:\Drive to took a little over an hour. Pulled old drive, new drive in. Bootup in about 15 - 20 seconds.
Primary HD subscore went from 5.9 to 7.6
Preliminary poking around shows pretty much everything running faster. (and more available RAM than I had before. VS2012 ultimate comes up in less than 5 sec.
Comes with 2 very nice pieces of software - Data Migration and the Samsung SSD Magician which had stuff for firmware updates, tuning of drive, tuning of OS and even a Norton Ghost to clone the drive in the future.
Now am mounting old drive in caddy I bought on eBay for $15.
