I loved the Agent, especially Merlin.

I wrote an app where users entered data in a wizard type form that moved them on and on from one page to the next.

I had Merlin appear and point to the control (e.g. textbox, radio button, etc.) where they had forgotten to enter data and he would speak to them.

But, I had to rip out all that code and get rid of Merlin when we moved all our machines from Windows XP to Windows 7, where without a hotfix or something the Agents don't work.

Alas, I'm not sure what is wrong with your code. I would try to position him in the middle of the form.
