I'd choose to use Apple products long before Google.

Here are the Google products I have chosen to use:

YouTube, only because there is no alternative
GMail. Got my first account earlier this year only to be able to visit ONE Google Group
GoogleGroups. There is one group that I visit about three times a year

Anything else that Google infects my PC with is totally unwanted. (and if truth be known, I don't want to use the three I listed)

Currently, I don't use any Apple products, only because there are alternatives.
