I've seen a few good movies recently. I can't watch The Perfect Game, Amazing Love, Flywheel, The Encounter, or Lifehouse's Everything Skit without crying. Such beautiful stories. :-)

The Perfect Game - About a 1950s Mexican Little League baseball team's stunning win of the Little League World Series, the last game of which was pitched remains the only "perfect game" (no runner gets to first base) in Little League World Series history.
This is quite possibly my favorite movie of all time.

Amazing Love - The story of Hosea in the Bible. God told him to marry a woman with eyes for adultery and worldliness. She has children by him, but ultimately leaves Hosea in pursuit of other men and the things those men can give her. Later rejected by her other lovers, Hosea takes her back, actually buying her at auction for 15 pieces of silver, and about 16 bushels (150 gallons) of barley.

Flywheel - The story of a used car salesman who goes from cheating people to being honest by honoring God in his business. As a result, the Lord (working through people) blesses him richly.

Programming of Life - In the last 7 years, scientists have learned more about DNA and the inner workings of cells. What goes on inside each cell is flatly amazing. 44 minutes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00vBqYDBW5s

The Encounter - Five strangers meet a man named "Jesus" in a roadside diner during a storm which washes out part of the road. While there, they learn that this "Jesus" is the real Jesus, and that each of them were brought there for a reason.

South of the Border - A series of interviews with South American leaders by Oliver Stone, including Venezuela, Paraguay, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador.

Lifehouse's Everything Skit - Not really a movie, but a tale of creation, man's fall, man's restoration through Christ. God created the world, man sinned, man becomes distracted, God calls, man doesn't answer, finally man comes back to God, but man can't do it alone, so God steps in to restore all things and make all things new again. 5.5 minutes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyheJ480LYA
