Big difference...
Google collects personally identifiable data..data about YOU. Microsoft collect information about your machine, nothing that says WHO you are.
And it looks like Google is doing its data collection illegally. It's looking like the EU will levy fines against the company because of it.
>iro data collection: if you say EULA = opt-in then fine, we all opt-in to everything we use. There is no difference between Google or MS in that case. You should have said that in the beginning and saved a lot of typing.
