The code fragment you posted used AddObject() so it had to be set .t. I do believe it can occur with a label put on a form in the designer, so it's .Visible isn't explicitly set .t., Although I guess internally VFP may be doing AddObject() and setting .Visible = .t. as it constructs a form, I don't know if there's any test we can run to know that. Maybe in VFP6 with a Visible_Assign method?
But anyway AutoSize and WordWrap really are mutually exclusive features. I find that a TextBox or EditBox works better for the dynamic text on the form that the original poster was looking to achieve.
