Maybe I didn't understand Jayesh question correctly. It seemed to me that he wanted a second instance to come up in a first. To me this seems a bit odd, but, if so, I'd suggest that the first instance pass a parameter to itself. Now if that's wrong, (SET SELFPROMOTION ON) he can go to www.advisor.com. The complete article (including code) is on-line there. All he has to do is go to the FoxPro index, select the Novemeber, 1998 issue, click on the article, and he can cut and paste the code from there, as well as read the article.
