I just did a quick check... U can put a function in the group by section. I have used function calls extensively with some FoxPro report forms. This should give U the ability to modify the grouping at run-time... Although, I do not understand your need for this functionality. Another approach is to setup a dummy field in your main table you are printing and this field will have the group breaks... Htwh... Steve
