Carribean is one of the more easygoing regions - better climate, sun and water often make things easier, esp in regions where they are proud of and comfortable with their bodies. Although I have never been to Trinidad itself, so I might be falsely generalizing from DomRep and Cuba.
Also blondes tend to have even more fun in regions where most other peoples hair is dark - over here we are more common, so my experience was perhaps skewed. Almost too easy back then - set your eyes on automatic scan, don't look away if you see something nice and be ready to make an utter fool of yourself if she looks more than once your way. In more than enough cases you won't make an utter fool of yourself but of those always looking elsewhere when she looks back.
