You can expect to meet me at the next meeting. With my daughters grown and gone I am footloose and fancy free. In my (much) younger days I even worked there for a time. As a consultant I worked for Borman's, the owner of the Farmer Jack grocery stores, and lived in West Bloomfield. It was a much nicer place than its reputation would lead one to believe. It epitomizes the America I grew up in -- autoworkers, steelworkers, the American dream. It really irritates me for it to be portrayed as our failed vision.

>We have a mixture - some of the companies sponsor the user group. Others have people that attend and they've mentioned that they're hiring. Yet others are just recruiters or HR staff that will come in for a meeting. At the end of the meeting they have a short "Anyone looking for work? Stand up and give us your 30 second resume" and then they do the same for people looking to hire.
