And with Visual FreePro I am placing Him first because of who He is. He gave me my abilities, and I return them to Him by returning them to each of you. I am using my talents in the manner He taught us to use them -- to help out each other (at least I am trying to do this to the best of my abilities ... I still struggle a lot because of the way this world operates, and I still fail a lot as a result of many factors, but it is my heart's desire, and it is through my faith that I act, and it is because of who Jesus is that I do this, and it is the way things will be forever when He returns -- I just want to get a head start :-)).

>>>>>I do thank you for your input, John. Please know that I do realize what you state here is the limiting factor as to why other people haven't come on board, but that is also by design. I want people on the project who not only believe in Christ, but who also desire to put the fruit of their lives into an application of His teachings -- giving of themselves freely unto others that the many may benefit from their skills, as He has given them to each of us. I want men and women with such beliefs to be the ones who come forward to help, because it is that community I am fostering with the Village Freedom Project (which is software called Visual FreePro under development, but is more than that in philosophy). This is a movement away from the way we do business today. Instead of working for self, we are working for Christ, which means working for the betterment of each other.

>>>I fail to see why some feel so threatened by Ricks religious fervor. In this case he was responding. And why, Tore, did you feel obligated to jump in with an insult?

>>I do not feel threatened by Rick's religious fervor. As you know personally, I do not have anything against religious faith. Often I envy those who have it. You epitomize the kind of Christian I admire. What annoys me about Rick is it tends to be his one and only topic. When your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. I do not like proselytizers.

>Hi Mike,

>Yes, I am pretty familiar with you and your posts and you know I am fond of both. My point is that Rick and his posts are a little "strange" to most people but they are not vicious or demeaning.

When someone is telling you over and over that you don't know anything about life etc etc etc and telling you over and over that you don't understand, that you can't understand, that you're incapable of understanding -- I find that vicious and demeaning.

>At most, I could understand why some would view him and his posts as oddities similar to a street preacher. Instead, a lot of air time is used to attack him and request that he be banned etc. Why not just ignore him if you are not interested?

..which makes perfect sense. I had my little debate with him (which I won by the way) - and from now on I just ignore the bible-tumping posts - which, thanks to the new section, is quite easy to do.

>He has pretty much complied with the request to "move out of the middle of the intersection" and off to a side street, but even then Tore and even you and some others still went out of the way to attack him and those who did so were not even involved in that particular thread.
>
>One of the latest barbs thrown his way complains that he is cluttering up the forum. How so? I think more space is being used to criticize him than he uses with his preaching.
>
>Time for all to "live and let live".

Yes.
