Metro is a failure and shows that they can take some really good technology and be clueless about how to market it or make a case for its adoption. All true - but as W8 can be made to look like W7 pointing to MS as the reason for slumping PC sales IMO is wrong.
PC is not the information at your fingertips device any more ;-)
As I wrote to Mike, they will have to offer finger-usability for remote operation via iPad soon.
