>>>Such a thing is what we will continue to get from here on out (until Jesus returns) because we really are living in the end times, and what has been written in scripture really is going to transpire.
>>>
>>>Do any of you doubt? Look around. Look at our debt. Look at our liberties (U.S Constitutional rights) being taken away one by one. We have an entire cadre of leaders who are bent on removing the truth and embracing falseness... and they are doing it to destroy us, destroy our souls in eternity, to get us fighting each other rather than the true enemy through prayer and faith.
>>>
>>>Time is ticking. These things which are happening are obvious. Open your eyes, seek the truth, and you too will see.
>>
>>The things you mention are really nothing new. Governments have take liberties away for a long time.

>>On the other hand, how do you know that Christ didn't return yet? (I believe He did.)

>I know you are devout so will not disrespect your beliefs in any way. But if Christ returned, in what form? Do we know him by a name? Where does he live? If He walks among us we would surely know some basics.

How many people knew about Christ when He appeared about 2000 years ago? - It was only centuries after His death that people gradually came to know about Him.

My belief - as a Bahá'í - is that God has regularly sent Messengers, to tell us what He wants from us, to guide us. These Messengers are the founders of different great religions, who - according to our belief - are actually all sent by the same God. It can be said that each of them is the "return" of the previous divine Messengers. Specifically, we recognize three Messengers that appeared after Jesus Christ - Muhammad, the Báb, Bahá'u'lláh.

It is well-known that many Christians had expected Christ to appear in the year 1844 ("Thief in the Night" by William Sears gives some details in the first chapters); that was the year that the Báb announced His claim, to be a Messenger of God.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
