There used to be similar dissent when people advertised their own VFP conversion services here. More recently people stopped reacting.

FWIW if people move on from VFP they shouldn't be advised to move to another MS product. Obviously people who already moved are in a difficult situation, but if deciding today you need to consider that a MS choice will limit yourself to <5% of the hot mobile market since more and more mission-critical apps run natively on devices. People enjoy scoffing at Lianja but it'll be a product like that which wins the day on mobile, you watch and see.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
