then read up on node.js - one of the newer fads and also recognized by MS as worthy to support.
then try for qooxdoo for a JS fwk. JS routing libs are too many already.
Spend a day googling, you will be surprized. V8 and newer trends speed up JS - it is not the slow dog you remember from IE4 ;-)
